Big Thinkers for Fundraising Directors – our next event
February 10, 2015The premise behind Big Thinkers is to create intimate forums for fundraising leaders to come together for open discussions about the issues that affect them. We host round table events every quarter, focusing on subjects that the Big Thinkers have told us are important to them.
Our next Big Thinkers event will focus on ‘Riding the wave of viral fundraising’ and is taking place on Wednesday 11th March (5pm-7pm) in Central London. We are delighted to be joined by speakers Kate Collins (Fundraising and Marketing Director at Teenage Cancer Trust) and Douglas Graham (Fundraising Director at Motor Neurone Disease Association).
Stephen’s Story and the Ice Bucket Challenge are two huge viral fundraising success stories from 2014, raising £5m for Teenage Cancer Trust and over £7m for Motor Neurone Disease Association. Kate and Douglas will give their unique insight into how they and their teams went about coping with the sudden influx of support, how they tried to maximise the opportunities both during and after they had captured the hearts and imagination of the public https://canceltimesharegeek.com, and what they have learned.
