Family Action

Good Values has worked with Family Action since 2006, helping them in a variety of projects, from developing their Fundraising Strategy to leading their name change and brand repositioning from Family Welfare Association (FWA) to Family Action.

We also helped them establish and manage a voluntary Development Board, which was tasked to raise £1 million over three years.

Good Values was selected to help the charity to develop their new fundraising strategy, based on our particular experience in high-value income streams. Once the fundraising strategy was complete, we were asked to remain a key partner in supporting the implementation of the recommendations.

One of the most important initial projects was to respond to funders’ and donors’ needs for a brand that better reflected the organisation’s work and values.

Following a comprehensive stakeholder consultation period, Good Values helped to create, test and implement the new brand identity – re-positioning the charity from Family Welfare Association (FWA) to Family Action.

Subsequently, we helped the charity to create a new high-value appeal and establish a Development Board and donor club, launched by a gala event.
